The life I’ve been given

Oh let me not waste

Help me to do 

Though not in haste

Lord give me the grace

As I learn and grow

To know when to leap

And the patience to flow

Though my days are less

Than years ago

Let the wisdom gained

Be a gift that is sown

To those much younger 

And ready to run

Take time to listen 

And know you are loved
